The 618th Air Operation Center (AOC) is a Tanker Airlift Control Center (TACC) located at Scott AFB. The 618th will be having their annual Family Christmas dinner this December serving hundreds of Officers and Enlisted. Post #1739, thru a Military Assistance Program grant, will donate $2500 to help them cover the cost of food involved for such a large event.
The 618th AOC has over 1,100 fleet aircraft from C-5 Galaxies to K-135 Stratotankers in which they direct, schedule, and plan aeromedical evacuations, combat deliveries, and strategic airlifts.
With deep respect and honor, Post #1739 appreciates the 618th Air Operations Center and is here willing to support them in whatever community need or mission they desire. We hope this donation of $2500 will help bring the Christmas moral and cheer to special operations center that is much needed in this world.
